representatives of the club before I he public Your position on public questions was well known in 1896 and your previous telegram indicates that your position has not changed My position on public questions is well known Time antagonism between our opinions is so great that we can not with propriety join in a political banquet given in honor of Democracys atron saint Jefferson stood for cer
