Thomas is said to bo at the head of the movement and has circulated a subscription: paper that has received a large nnm ber of signera. It has been decided by tho owners of tho historic old grounds either to cut the place up into building lots or sell it as a whole for agricult ural purposes. An Kentucky Fair means that iheir will be no racing and no, trials of speed except those once ceen in tho "bull rings" of our country agricultural society, but we trust that such will not be the case with our Bourbon friends, .and that they will try to utilize the good half- mile track they already have without the building. Bourbon is a horse- breeding and horse-raisin- g county, and the breeders should take an Interest in the new association and do all in their power not only to assist in the promo tion of the contemplated fair, but also e to revive the interest of the Bourbon county people in contest of speed by light harness horses.
