night had twenty men on board the Captain two mates the cook and sixteen sailors also the Captains wife and two children Three sailors the Captains wife and chil- dren got off in a small boat The boat capsized but the occupants were rescued by a tug It is thought that the rest of the vessels crew were drowned A lifeboat went to the shipwreck sailors but was capsized by the waves and the captain of the boat drowned The ship is breaking up fast on the rocks and will be a total loss Tugs have taken two parties of men the bay to Banceltto and they have started over the bills to search the beach for survivors It is now known that the captain anel seven teen sailors of the ship Elizabeth were drowned in the wreck The details of the wreck are hard to obtain as the point where the ship went on the rocks is in aeeessable by sea and to reach it by lanel a climb of several miles over the mountains is ne oessary The place is called the Tennessee dive and is four miles north of this entrance to the harbor on the Marine County shore Early Sunday morning the tug went to seme the of the wreck and found that nothing was left of the Elizabeth She had gone to pieces during the night As BOOM as the
