17 1910 oOc PER YEAR IN ADVANCE I Glaucoma years the principal characteristic of which is un increase of fluid with in the globs of eye It is a very serious affection of the most serious of the eye troubles for the reason that it often treeps upon one unawares and if not treated fre quently ends in blindness Fortu nately however the early symptoms sometimes ignored until to late by the patient These early symptoms nre a ring of the sight objects being ob served as it were through a a ring of various colors Irk A rain bow surrounding a bright light and more or less dull headache The physician when c nsultd regarding these symptoms will find the pupil somewhat chitted and sometimes rather oval in shape the cornea slightly cloudy and dropsi cal and the eyeuall harder than normal indicating an increased pressure of fluid within These troubles usually subside after a few hours but return again in a few weeks or months and 10 recur at gradually shorten ing intervals for perhaps a year or two until the actual disease begins There Is one symptom wlich does not remit and the presence of which should always excite suspicion this is a sudden increase in presby opia or far sight communed with one another and they agreed it would be best to go out and blow their trumpet along the highways and public places thinking that such would frighten anil intimidate the Demoskite conspirators and would rally the Repusites NOW they challenged the conspirators to meet them at their trumpeting places but the conspirators paid no to their challenge so the trump eting failed to have its usual effect and but few Repusites and no De moskites would attend the places The Ethiopians seemed to be careless and not so enthusiast ic as usual so the chief priests and those that were they return ed to their synapogue boundaries to get ready and give Instructions to their spies and emissaries to select suitable pages and butlers to during the casting of lots Now some of the priests
