by written petition to me Judge of the Rock I castle County Court to order an election to be held on the 6th day of November 1900at the va rious voting places in said county for the purpose qt taking he indorses If these men are turned loose after being convicted by a nonpartisan jurv r will it not lead to even a worse state of affairs than now exists Will it not create violence and blood shed throughout the State Will it not be the very worst thing for the Commonwealth Then if it will be why vote for him The election of Mr Yerkes mean a complete indorsement of the actions of Taylor Powers Finley and others who were the originators and promotors of the mountain mobs taken to Frank fort last winter It would mean the endorsement of a mob taking our Capitol city firing off their pis tols at random and putting men women and children in fear of their lives It would mean the endorsement of shooting out car windows shooting down car doors and tearing up car benches and endangering the lives of every one on the inside it will mean that you are opposed to the law to the mandates of the Court it will mean that you can defy your sheriff put your officers to flight and that you care
