Somerset having lost the ball on downs, was put on the defensive. In the rirst play Singleton by a splendid punt sent the ball to the middle of the field where It was mutfed by Craw ford the Somerset quarter back. After an Intermission of 15 minutes play was again resumed with Somerset defending the north goal Stanford kicked ofr to them and after about six minutes by means or a rake play which worked like a charm, Har ris Coleman scored the firth touch-mogracerul manner and arter a tew minutes of playing without results the third quarter ended with the score 23 to 0 In favor of Stanford. Atter Intermission of three minutes play was again resumed with our men defending the north goal. After several minutes of playing Mike Penny, Stanford's swift left halt, made a 45 yard run around the right end and made the slxthi touch down. Singleton failed to kick the goal and after quite a number of lively scrimmages without results and the game ended with a total score of33 to 0. Slngltton kicked three out ot fivo goals.
