Louis villa elected an entire democratic city ticket, headed by V. 0. Head for May or, by a handsome majority. Old Virginia, may her sacred soil grow better as the days go by, elected a democratic governor by tho usual majority. Democrats won county offices in many republican strongholds and tho Senato and House are both largely democratic. Lincoln county did herself proud by giving democratic majorities, ranging from 350 to OoO and electing every coun ty officer save two magistrates. It was a good day's work and shows what democracy can do when democrats are in fighting trim.
