Cyrus Dawson's nrm was broken as a result of an explosion nt Hopkinsville. Dawson touched a match to a hole in n whisky barrel. Hev. Isaac W Emerson died at Kus- Bollvillo, aged 82 years. Ho was tho father of Walter P. Emerson, the well- known Cincinnati newspaper man. Six Chinamen smuggled in a Texas Pacific freight car, were arrested by tho police at Fort Worth, Tex., soon after tho train arrived from El Paso.
