vice presi- ¬ dent of the New York Central and Hudson River He was the active representative if his fathers Jst railroad interest even beforethe latter retired and became success- ¬ fully President of Canada Southern the New York and Central and at his death was director in 41 different railroad corporations He has been active ic missipn work in New York City and a lib eral subscriber to public and this morning and is in a very serious condition He was hit in the mouth and jaw and his jaw bone was broken in two places and seven teeth five lower and two upper was knocked out The animal had been cut by a barbed wire and young Clark was putting linimenton the wound when he received the blow which it is feared will prove fatal A surgeon set the broken bones but at last accounts his condition
