talk of ten minutes at the depot It had beeu arranged to tako him to a platform a few feet from the track but the train ran a little too far and bo fore it could move back the crowd closed in behind aud completely cut off Mr Bryan from the platform He accordingly made his speech from the platform of the car but it was only heard by a small portion of the 5 000 people present and packed in a solid
