was thought for a while that the wheat was damaged very much by the freeze but the damage was very slight if any The Hessian fly has made its appearance in many parts of the state doing very great damage to the wheat crop Some correspondents report a large portion of the crop falling from the effects of the fly Others report that the rust is damaging the crop very materially The condition of
