back room of Fincel Brothers meat store on St Clair street when a difficulty arose between two of the party Sanford Pune Goin and Will L Collins in which one or two blows were struck when the parties were separated by those present and Goin taken out on the street Collins started to leave in a little while and just after getting into the store proper Goin came back from the door rushed at Collins and struck him on the forehead with a slung shot made of a canister shot wrapped in his handkerchief cutting his head terribly and knocking him down As Collins arose from the floor he came up with a pistol in his hand and commenced firing The first shot struck Goin in the left thigh passing through the muscles above the bone and the second took effect in the left side of the neck passing around and striking the top of the right collar bone which deflected it out The last shot felled him to the floor when Collins ceased firing and gave up his pistol Goin was taken to the office of who dressed
