smith shop and Mr L B Weis burg the millwright was destroy- ¬ Mr Chas T Egbert ed by fire who had a room and paint shop irj the second story of the build ing and Mr Jack Cohen a black- ¬ smith who also roomed in the shop were asleep when the fire broke out and were compelled to Cohen es- ¬ jump for their lives caped unhurt but Mr Egbert was horribly burned as well as bruist by the fall lingered for Several days and died Thursday morning of his injuries The build ¬ ing belonged to Mr Weisenburg who had only 1 1000 insurance upon it and the same amount on his stock He had the machinery for a complete roller mill set up in the shop ready to ship and it wasiall destroyed which together c burned will run with tools his loss up to five or six thousand Co dollars Messrs Bartlett had 400
