creek As usual we took our squirrel rifles along We had to pass along by the old Cane Creek Church It was the custom in those days to holdchurch meetinV every fourth Saturday to inquire into the conduct of the flock and etc suggested that we hide our rifles and stop at church My cousin agreed to the proposition We left them behind it log and wont into the meeting houseOne old Brother who was
