do or dain as follows Sec 1 No person or persons skull sell any spirituous vinous or malt liquor within the town of Clay City without first obtaining a license the efor from the City Council thereof application for which liceno shall be mime iiig to the clerk of the Council nt least five days before the granting of said li censeSec 2 The sutra to be paid each year that such license may bo granted shall be as follows For license to keep a saloon the sum 1000 per annum i for license to mer chants to sell such liquors who sell by the quart the sum of 1000 i for license qllonlltlctlnot 1000 for license to sell ale beer or porter by the wholesale in quantities not less than five gallons including nil agents the Sl1l11Of UM Sec a The license mentioned above to merchants and druggists shall not
