The subject of this sketch, Mrs. Clara B. Bradshaw, was born May 29, 1875, and died Aug. 20, 1899, aged 24 years and 4 months. Death is always cruel but especially so in the case of the young and fair. This was sadly illustrated in the death of Mrs. Bradshaw whose loving husband and tender young son will live more and more but to learn each-dathe loss which they have sustained, but while we grieve at her untimely death we rejoice to know that an earnest christian faith had prepared hei to meet and conquer our last enemy. She was a consistent member of the Baptist church having been baptized into the fellowship of the. Freedom church two years ago aid but for that dread disease, consumption, she might have lived for many years of useful ness. "Her sun went down, while it was yet day." She will be sadly missed by her family, her church and the community.
