The Boyle county grand jury return- ek an indictment against the town of Danville for its failure to keep in proper repair that portion of Main street formerly under the control of the narrodsburg Turnpike; Company. At several meetings of the Fiscal Court and a number of taxpayers dur ing the past week, the turnpike ques tiou was discussed at lengtli and many views given as to the management of the roads. The first proposition offer ed was voted against by every magis trate present, knocking it into a cock ed hat. At the meeting Tuesday the order published elsewhere in The Rec ord was passed, each magistrate vtoing aye. It was hoped that when the gates were removed that a public would be given a rest on the matter.
