i 4r r- tt A MISSING FOR EIGHT MONTHS The family of John David Doling of Lyonia Hancock county are alarm ed over his disappearance which oocnred eight months ago and are now taking steps to ascertain his whereabouts He left Lyonia for Owensboro and was to go from there to the coal mines at Fenley to seoc a position Since then his family has not heard a word from him The News authority for the above infor mation is a son of Mr Bolings who was in the city Saturday making in quiries about his father The son has been waiting patiently for hs father to return home but his continued and unaccountable absence and his failure 1to locate him have made it look like a case ofI mysterious disappearance It Is said that Baling formerly con ducted a variety theater in Owens boro and at one time resided in Tobinsport Ind Ho has been a man of means and is known to many People in Breckenridge county Resolutions of Respect Whereas It has pleased an all wise God to remove front among us our office bUIlding Jesse Weathorholt and Chas Ryan who have both returned to this city after being in the business in Owensboro will conduct the parlors for Mr Coombes Mr Coombes began the barber busi desk for the approval that there awaits them These three measures are the Capitol Appropriation Bill the School Book Bill and the Worlds Fair Appropriation Bill The first provides for an appropriation of sufficient money to erect a new capitol building The second provides for state uniformity and maximum prices of school books The third provides for an appropriation of 75000 for the Kentucky representa tion at St Louis A number of the three bills have already passed one or the other of the two houses Senator Gus RIchardson of this district introduced a bill last week appropriating 75000 for enlargement of the Western Asylum at Hopkins yule Representative A So Thompson of Meade introaucd a bill providing for the death penalty fur robbery and burglary one appropriating 1000 annually for additional clerical assistance to the State Treasurer and one increasing the penalty for road over seers falling to perform their duties The bills were referred to the proper committees Girls on the 6th day ot January 1001 in the above en titled cause I aa Special Master ap pointed for such purpose by the said decree will sell at public auction to the highest bidder in bar and free of all- following described propertyAll singular the lands real estate buildings machinery and other things comprising the defendants complete brick plant at Cloverport Breckenridge county Kentucky said land being particularly described as follows towit That certain tract or parcel of land situated near and adjoining the limits of the City of Cloverport Breckenridge county State of Kentucky containing thirtyone aud onehalf 313 acres bounded as follows Murrayslinethe original line south fourteen and one hslf 14M degrees rast seventyfive 75 poles to a stake in the center of the pike road thence with the pike road to a stake the division between this lot and the lot laid off for Bacon and wife thence north fourteen and Onehalf UK degrees west one hundred and three 103 poles to the original line between Fishers and Murray tracts of land thence south sixtynine and one half 60J degrees west fiftynine 50 poles to the beginning being the same tract of land mentioned in the deed from Elizabeth Wilkerson and others to George C Patton Trustee and the same mentioned in the deed of W Cox Commissioner to Elizabeth Wilkerson dated October 1 180j and of record in the office of the County Clerk of franchises rights of way ease ments privileges interests and immu nities belonging or appertaining to the business of said defendant and all its plant machineries boilers engines wagons carts livestock tools implements materials supplies patent righ s and its other property ofevery kind and untureall of which was owned by the said defendant at the time of the execution of the mortgage by it to the complainant or thereafter owued or ac quired by it together with all and sing ular the tenements hereditaments and appurtenances thereunto belonging and the rents issues and profits thereat and all the the estate right title interest property possession claim and demand whatsoever as well at law as in equity of the said defendant in and to the same andevery part mid parcel thereof Time foregoing property does not in c ude seventyeight cars together with the rail guard railsand extras for angle guard rails which were procured from the Atlas Car Manufacturing Company The sale of all the foregoing property shall be in one lot or parcel and as a whole and no bid for the same of a sum less than twentytwo thousand dollars will be received At the same time imp placp I will also sell at p blic auction to the highest bidder leventyeight cars together with the rails guard rails and extras tn angle guardrails procured front the Atlas Car Manufacturing Company for which no bid of a sum less than one thousand dollars will be received Each bidder shall be required to place in my hands at the time of the acceptance of his bidand as part of stid bid and as a pledge that he will make good his bid if accepted by the Court a sum equal to twentyfive percent of tLe bid so made by him said sum to be deposited either in cash or certified check or certificate of deposit payable to or endorsed to my order For the balance being seventyflve per cent of his bid each purchaser shall executed promissory note bearing interest from the day of sale with two good and approvedbypayment of the note a lien on the properly sold will be expressly retained but privilegebefore payingthe day of sale Each purchaser shall also have the option of making the deposit of twenty five per cent and the deferred payment of seventyfive per cent by surrendering to me at the time his bid is accepted bonds and overdue coupons secured by first mortgage executed by the defend ant to the complainant said bonds to be received at such value as the holder may be entitled to receive thereon in- case the entire purchase price were paid in cash excent that such bonds and coupons shall not be accepted in payment of the costs of the action the cost of advertising and making the vale the allowances to the trustee and his counsel time allowances to the receiver and his counsel and the allowance to the
