Otter creek ho lost his balance and fell off His left leg was broken and several gashes cut on his head He lay under the trestle six hours before his cries for help were heard bya farmer who was organized at Glondeaue The lodge had about sixteen members wh reside in Glendeane and vicinity A number of the members were Maons who resided in the community mentioned but belonged to lodges in neighboring towns It was these Masons who united themselves to gether organized the new lodge and initiated their fellow citizens Tne organization took place in the presence of visiting Masons from Jr Irwin of the Henderson Route Orders Three Fine Passenger Cars IIFOR t WORLDS FAIR TRAFFIC 1 Mr L J Irwin General Passenger agent of the Louisville Henderson 1St Louis railroad has completed ar rangements for the immediate pur 4 j cafejI b for delivery by Feburary 1 1004 The Henderson Route expects to t get a large share of the Worlds Fair I business next year and will mnke all 0the necessary preparations to handle t the passengers And freight that will pass over its line The present passen ger equipment of the road is sufficient for the companys present business but the directors of tho company think it best to improve it in order to accommodate the heavy rush towards St Louis next year President Attila I Cox It will be remembered sug gested in his annual report that new passenger equipment is needed He stated that the coaches now in ser vice were in as good condition as could be expected in view of their age and said that the greatest need of the road was new and uptodate equipment Since President Cox issued his report the directors of the road have considered his suggestion and if their wishes are carried out n dozen new coaches and several baggage can will be secured Two more locomotives nlso are needed but these were ordered several months ago and are now due to be delivered The road has a con tract with the Pullman company by which it can get all the fourteen shows of the Ferari Carnival Company for the big fair which will be held in Owensboro this week This attraction is one of the the largest that h is ever been engaged for a fair in any but the large cities and costs a large sum of money The officers of the fair however are not sparing anyi expense to make this the best fair that has ever been given in Kentucky and in spite of the cost engaged the Ferari company This company ia ackeowl edged to be the leading attraction of its kind in the country carrying 250 people und never showing in small citiesThe engagements of the carnival company means that the state fair this year is to have many more attractions than ever before and that it will be run on a much more elaborate scale Those Interested in the fair are confident that the addition of the Ferarl shown will be a big drawing card and they are jubilant over the engagement of it The company showed in Louts yule last week In connection with the carnival of the Central Labor
