A San Antonio express messenger named David A. Trousdale is the hero of all Texas today. Starting unarmed and covered with two rovolvors held by a masked train robber, he emerged from obscurity flanked on either side by the body of a dead bandit, trophies to his prowess as a defender of the lives and prop-ort- y entrusted to his care. That, in brief, sums up the fatal error made by a pair of desperadoes when they attempted to hold up Southern Pacific passenger train No. 0 at a lonely point in the desert a few miles east of Sanderson, Texas, early this morning.
