FROM LOCAL UNIONS Indianapolis Ind Feb 14 The United States Government 1Aj today arrested almost all of the i fifty four men indicted in the 6dynamite conspiracy Ca eStIt took into custody within a few J hours practically the entire offi eial staff of the International Association of Bridge and Structural Ironworkers including the chief officers members of the l Executive Board and about 20 business agents and former bUll nose agents Those included Frank M Ryan the president John T Butler of Buffalo N Y the first Vice president and Herbert 8 Hook in the second vice presIdent and successor of J J McNamara as secretarytreasurer and each of these men was required to lIve 10000 bond for his appearance iforarraignment here with all the other defendants here on March iteth- Jfert Ortie E McManigal in the dynamite plots embracing al most 100 explosion which were begun in Massachusetts in 1005 which were scattered over the country for six years and which resulted in the Wrecking rare procedure in legislation proved to be the feature of todays session of the Kentucky Senate the culmina tion however proving most sat isfactory to the friends of the measure in question Senator R M Salmon of Hopkins early in the present session of the Legislature introduced a bill t increase the appropriation the the Kentucky Home Society for Colored children from 5000 to 10000 The bill has romaine in the hands of the committee until yesterday when Senate- Salmon by a suspension of the rules took the bill from the com mittee and placed ic upon its passage 27 votes being recorded in its favor and but 4 in opposi tion The bill now goes to th House for action by that body Mission sand Entertains The Mission Band of the Christian church had a mos delightful Social and Bazaar at the home
