ELIGIBLES HO FOR NASHVILLE ! Wreck at Nortonville. The wrecker whistle blew a few minutes after 2 o'clock yetterda morning, calling the crew to go to a freight wreck, j'ttst beyond Nor tonville a quarter of a mile. It was train number 64, Harrison engineer and Moody conductor. A drawhead in the first car pulled out and dropped on the track. The first two cars passed over it safely, but the next three were wrecked. The wrecked cars contained cotton in one, lumber in one, and general merchandise in the third; all box cars. In handling one of the cats with the wrecker, the latttcr was overturned, Nick Shannon was the onlyman at all bruised up in the turn over. He was on the deck of the wrecker, and in the fall was thrown against the ground, striking on his neck and shoulder. Fortunately, no one was inside the wrecker at the time. Notwithstanding this mislortune the track was cleared in short or der and traffic resumed. The Bee reporter regrets that he could not accept the invitation to take breakfast with the crew at the wreck. Its smell was appetizing. BIG PRICES FOR TOBBACCO.
