argument is made that the Council has not accomplished its purpose and that it Is dominated by men who are objectionable to some of the leaders in the new movement The first objection is true and it will possibly be true of new organization in time but that will not argue that an honest and earnest effort has not been made to accomplish that end The second objection is frivilous and could be urged with as much pros perity against the new organiza tlon for the time will never come when some one w 11 not object to those who manage and control its affairs just as they will to those who control other organiz itions i I These objections are usually more I I imaginary than real and are the outgrowth of jealously or envy and not alw tys nude for the good of tthose must concerned There doubt if there had preveuI disposition to do so A liberal re ward has been offered for the apprehension ol the law breakers but had not the property been destroyed little attention would have been paid to the destruction of a human lifeIx a terrible fire and panic in the Iroquois Theatre Chicago last Wednesday afternoon nearly 600 people were burned and tramped to death and more than halfas
