Downs Some for New York El Paso Tex February 23 Horsemen who are racing at Terrazas Park are beginning to make plans for a iiuiek getaway as soon as possible after the close of the meeting next Sunday Most of them have already decided upon the point where they will race during the coming summer and have made their plans accordingly Several of the large stables will be shipped direct lo New York to prepare for the opening of the season on the metropolitan tracks Quite a number of the small stables will be shipped to California and the northwest where there will be practically continuous racing all summer summerA A number of stables will be shipped to Salt Lake City where a fortyfourdays meeting will be given commencing early in May At the conclusion o this meeting the horses will be campaigned on the Montana circuit which includes Butte Anaconda and other iioints Most of the stables racing here ¬ abouts however will be shipped to Louisville where the horses will be rested for the Lexington and Churchill Downs meetings Among the best known of the stables destined for Churchill Downs are those of C C Van Meter J R Wainwright John Marklein J C Ferriss J B Respess C S Wilson Dave Henry J W Young R Gilmore and Al Goodman GoodmanAll All of these stables will be shipped to Louisville immediately following the close of the meeting Mr Wainwright will have ten horses or three more
