In commemoration of Easter Week, the churches of Okolona Invite everyone to attend their special Holy Week and Easter services which they have scheduled. Reverend John W. Lewis, pastor of Cooper Memorial Methodist Church, 9900 Preston Highway, announces that on Holy Thursday at 7:30 p.m. there will be a candlelight communion service with special music by the choir. The Anniversary of the Lord's Supper will be celebrated with Mass at 8:30 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. on Holy Thursday. Special adoration of the Blessed Sacrament will be held after Mass until 10 p.m. On good Friday, there will be adoration of the Blessed Sacrament from 9 a.m. until 6 p.m. Special devotions on Good Friday will consist of Holy Communion and Veneration of the Cross beginning at 6 p.m. and at 7:30 p.m. the Way of the Cross will be held. Easter vigil services will begin at 11 p.m. on Holy Saturday, which will be climaxed by Mass.
