Scope and Content

The volume contains records of the Baptist Church, Green River, KY founded in 1803. The records include the church's covenant, membership list, and minutes. The minutes note some black membership. The minutes also contain records of charges placed against members and expulsions in some cases. In later years, the church is referred to as the United Baptist Church of Christ at Green River.
