Floyd Collins' Monument. (Printed verso reads: "He lived for an ideal - in search of earthly beauty - this he found in his discovery of Crystal Cave. He died for an ideal - the ideal of service before self. Floyd Collins was born in Hart Co., Ky., April 26, 1887, discovered Crystal Cave Dec. 18, 1917, was trapped in Sand Cave Jan. 30, 1925, was buried in Crystal Cave, Ky., June 13, 1927.")
