Scope and Content

These document the buildings, grounds, recreational areas, and surrounding landscapes of Pine Mountain Settlement School through various stages of its development.

The main campus and buildings, planned by architect Mary Rockwell Hook, are depicted, as well as interior views showing artifacts and furnishings. Much of the furniture shown was made in the school woodshop. Photographs of the Creech Log Cabin, which was moved to the School in 1918 and converted to a museum and memorial, are also present.
