James Garrard was born in Virginia in 1749. His residence was in Bourbon County, Kentucky. His occupations included farmer, soldier, and Baptist minister. Garrard served as governor from 1796-1804 and was the only Kentucky Governor to serve two full successive terms; first to live in Governor's Mansion.
These records include Executive Journals as well as Enrolled Bills and Resolutions.
