Scope and Content

This is a photocopied typescript draft of Angle's novel RINKER, published by Crossroads Press in 1979, which describes a day in the life of a coal miner. Angle a native of Maryland, has been a coal miner since 1975.

The typescript draft (32 pp.) is substantially shorter than the published novel. Apparently this story represents a draft which was expanded into the longer work. No editorial revisions are included.
