This collection is an account book kept by a general store of an undetermined name in Frankfort, Kentucky. The store was possibly owned by M.B. Morrison and L.M. Taylor. The ledger, dated 1828-1829, lists customers such as Humphrey Marshall, Col. Richard Taylor, Thomas Crittenden, George Todd, Charles Bacon, and Thomas Triplett. Items sold include sugar, coffee, cotton, silk, ribbons, Irish linen, tacks, handsaws, and nails.
