Scope and Content

These document Henderson Settlement's goals and policies, physical plant, finances, and social service efforts.

Among the records are copies of deeds (1924 - 1969, n.d.); Child Care Program, licenses and program planning (1958 - 1975); correspondence concerning forestry (1955 - 1975); Governing Board, correspondence and budget reports (1966 - 1977); and Laurel Fork Community Clinic, minutes and reports (1966 - 1973).

Information on the Archer Community Center, a Methodist mission in Eagan, Tennessee which was supported by the Henderson Settlement in the 1950s, is present, as is documentation of the Red Bird Missionary Conference, which administers Methodist missionary work in Kentucky.
