Scope and Content

This collection consists of two items associated with Oscar Pepper of Versailles, Kentucky. One item is a typed copy of an 1861 Kentucky Senate resolution concerning federal taxes paid by Kentucky during the Civil War. The other item is a receipt issued August 20, 1862, to Oscar Pepper for $150.00 paid to him for damages done by Morgan's band. The receipt was signed by the Provost Marshal of Woodford County, J.W. Combs.
