Scope and Content

This single item collecito consists of oa letter to Miss Pattie Burnley from R.B. Garnett, dated May 20, 1852. The contents of the letter pertains to mutual acquitances and the social scene in Washington City and St. Louis, Missouri. Garnett goes on to discuss his current military assignment at Forts Leavenworth and Larmie. He expresses disappointment after the social scene of the city.
