Scope and Content

Single item collection consisting of a letter, dated Sept. 26, 1854, to an unknown person. The author of the letter is J.J. Hunter. The content of the letter deals with the Gas Works in Lexington, Kentucky, and it's consumption of coal, when the reordering of coal should take place, and the Covington-Lexington Railroad. The railroad was only completed to Paris, Kentucky.
