Scope and Content

This collection consists of a letter written February 9, 1801, by William T. McCormick in Natchez (Mississippi) to Francis Jones, Esquire, and concerns a shipment of merchandise from Pittsburgh and mentions the election of Thomas Jefferson and Aaron Burr. On the back of the letter is a note, dated Nov. 30, 1801, to Col. H. Gaither concerning payment from Lt. Wilkinson.
