The collection, gift of Robert L. Simpson, includes first English and American editions, editions in French, rare journals with first appearances in print, magazines, prospecti, three holograph postcards from 1939 and 1947 to Hugh Gordon Porteous, an undated holograph note, and a 1943 postcard to Diana Lincoln. Also present is the correspondence regarding the collection between Simpson and rare book dealer Alan G. Watson.
