Chair, Department of Music, appointed Dr. Strieter moved that the Board of Regents, upon the recommendation of the President of the University, approve the appointment of Dr. Pamela Wurgler, Associate Professor of Music, as Chair of the Department of Music, effective July 1, 2005, at a fiscal year salary of . $66,000. Director, Center for Telecommunications Systems Management, appointed · Mrs. Buchanon moved that the Board of Regents, upon the recommendation of the President of the University, approve the appointment of Dr. James Gantt as Director of the Center for Telecommunications Systems Management, effective February l, 2005. Interim Athletic Director, appointed Mr. Miller moved that the Board of Regents, upon the recommendation of the President of the University, approve the appointment of Bill Whittaker as Interim Director of Athletics effective February 25, 2005, at an additional salary of $3,000 per month. This appointment will expire upon the hiring of a full-time Director of Athletics.
