Scope and Content

This collection consists of a letter, a contractors' handbook, typewritten television minutes, and a yearbook. The letter was written Feb. 4, 1828, by Alice Berry, Fairfield Kentucky, to Mildred Buckner and discusses family news. The handbook, dated 1922, is entitled The Contractors Searchlight, Richardson Lumber Co., and contains general information used by building contractors. The television minutes, entitled "Selected Days, September 1775 to November 1776" were used by CBS to celebrate the U. S. bicentennial. The Society of Boonesborough Yearbook 1979-1983, Richmond, Kentucky, contains the society's annual report with by-laws and a listing of members.
