Arrangement: Chronological. The Richard Allen family resided in Jessamine County, Kentucky and Sumner County, Tennessee and the Joseph S. Kenney family were residents of Boyle County, Kentucky. Papers of the Richard Allen family and of the Joseph S. Kenney family. Included is correspondence, 1847-1916, between family members and friends reflecting their family and social lives; and records, 1845-1890, regarding the farming and horse and stock breeding operations of Joseph Kenney. Invitations to exercises held at Centre College.
