An account of daily activities kept by Judge James H. Polsgrove of Frankfort, Kentucky. Accounts include descriptions of the weather, court cases, county government transactions, and some state political dealings. Polsgrove also, whenever possible, used the proper names of his professional associates, those that went before him in court, and those he interacted with in the events recorded in the diary.
