Biography/History

The Troxel family of Lexington, Kentucky had strong ties to Transylvania University. Reverend D. C. Troxel taught at the university and his daughters, Leetha and Maxine were graduates (1934, 1938).

Scope and Content

This is a collection of materials related to the Troxel family of Lexington, Kentucky. Included is Maxine Troxel's college scrapbook with photographs (1935-1938) and her general embryology notebook (ca. 1938) from Transylvania University. Also included are photographs of the university orchestra (ca. 1931), other photographs, various programs, and collected information about family members.
