Scope and Content

This collection consists of items associated with the Elmore family of Kentucky. Items include an undated Thonet Brothers furniture store brochure; an 1850 survey for William Elmore in Jessamine County, Kentucky; John J. Elmore's recipe book, dated 1858, and loose recipe sheets; an inventory of heirlooms given to K.B. Elmore, dated 1914 and written on Phoenix Hotel (Lexington, KY) stationery; a 1921 note concerning a house sold by C.C. and Mary Fain to Mrs. Allie H. Elmore in Lexington, Kentucky.
