Przjecl Status: An RFP has been issued for design services. Renovate Parking Structure # 3 — UKHC Prtjecl Descrquion: This project will consist of the selective repair ofthe EIFS on the spandrels and column wraps, repair pre-cast and connections, concrete slab repair, recoating of structural steel components, barrier cable repair, replacement of doors and frames, and miscellaneous painting. _ Project Status: ` The University selected the team ofBrown+Kubican/Omni Architects as the design consultants. A review meeting of the Design Documents is scheduled for 1/27/ l 2. Construction documents are scheduled to be delivered on March 2, with a review meeting on 3/9/12. Renovgte/Upgrade Softball Complex Prtjecr Descrnation: This project consists of spectator seating and amenities, including replacement of the existing portable seating sections for sntiball, with new treads and risers from end to end ofthe dugouts. The project will provide approximately 400-600 new tixed chair back seats as well as a combination of 600—800 bleachers, with and without bench backs, for a total permanent seating capacity of around 1200. New elevated terraces overlooking the‘Held at the back ofthe new grandstands and new press facilities will be constructed. Also included is construction of a new indoor practice facility for softball that is approximately l00’ x l00’ in area, playing iield improvements, new or upgraded Held and site lighting, an entry plaza to the complex and a new ticket facility. This project also provides renovation ofthe existing facilities, including the Team Building into primarily the locker, lounge and equipment facilities for Softball. The new press box may have the ability to service soccer Held as well as softball field, and other amenities as deemed feasible. Project Status: An RFP has been issued for design services. Design is anticipated to begin in mid-February. F
