is hereby given that on April 11,
1967, Justine M. Coffey, Administratrix of the estate of Fred L.
Coffey, deceased, filed her Final
Report and Settlement in the Letcher County Court, which was
ordered to lay over until May 15,
1967, for exceptions, and no exceptions having been filed or
taken thereto, further notice is
hereby given that on May 15,
1967, unless exceptions are filed
in the meantime, an order will
be entered approving and confirming said Final Report and
Settlement in all things.

The news of the death of an old
friend of ours came this week.
Mr. William M. Walters, formerly of Blackey, died last week and
was buried April 13 in Washington,
Mr. and Mrs. Dave Back are the
Eroud parents of a new baby girl,
April 9. Her name Is Teresa Marlene.
Mr Leonard Riley has been sick
in bed for more than a week. We
hope he is better soon.
Mr. and Mrs. Jack Frazier and
children and Mr. and Mrs. Burgess Miles of Louisville are home
visiting Mr. and Mrs. T. A. Dixon. They also are visiting Mr.
Frazier's grandmother, Mrs. John
Collins of Tillie, who is very ill.
Mrs. Hat Hodge has moved back
home to live. She had been living with her daughter Mrs. Hess
Salyers of Ohio.
Mr. and Mrs. R. D. Caudill
have moved to Grundy, Va. ,
where he Is employed by Island
Creek Coal Co.
Mr. and Mrs. Truman Jent have
moved into their new home at
Carcassonne. Truman did all the

Combs of Carbon Glow were married Saturday, April 15, at Wise,
The ladies of our day care center have been gone for a week on
a training session. They went to
