i DEDICATION OF THE NEW ADDITION t , _ I y TO THE EXPERIMENT STATION ‘ . ‘ _ BUILDING. . 1 The new addition to the Experiment Station building was · Q i completed in the spring of 1913. On June 3rd, the new structure was formally dedicated and upon recommendation - if of the Director, sanctioned and approved by the Board of Control, the Experiment Station building was designated as } i Scovell Hall in honor of the late Director, Dr. M. A. Scovell, " , I and in commemoration of his distinguished services to the , i cause of agriculture in the State and Nation. A bronze l ~ tablet commemorating this fact has been permanently mounted on the wall of the Experiment Station building to p I A E (the right of the main entrance. The dedicatory exercises l were held in a tent on the Experiment Station grounds, immediately in front of the Experiment Station building. p I', T At 9:45 on the morning of June 3rd, the staff and employees \ '·‘V of the Experiment Station and invited guests assembled in l the office of the Director, and promptly at ten o’clock, the ‘ procession was formed by the Commandant of Cadets, Lieut. ` c I Gullion, and marched out of the side entrance of the Experi- if ment Station building down Washington Avenue to South _l i Limestone Street, to the north entrance of the Experiment Station grounds and thence to the tent. The following is the program of the dedicatory exercises:
