These are papers of Jacob Robinson, a farmer and member of the Christian Church from Garrard County, Kentucky. Included is a ledger used to record Robinson's expenses and purchases of such items as wood, meat, flour, and hides (1849-1866). Also present is information on the history of the Lancaster Christian Church in Lancaster, Kentucky, which was created following an 1827 split with the Forks of Dick's River Baptist Church. An 1842 letter written by Robinson during a trip to Tallahassee, Florida is also included. Variant title: Jacob Robinson collection. Condition of material: fair (acid damage).
