This pamphlet entitled "The Battle for Governor in Kentucky" was compiled by Carl Dailey in 1900, the year of Gov. William Goebel's assassination. The pamphlet contains photographs of the assassination's aftermath, including troop placement on the State Capitol grounds and the chase between the state militia and the Kentucky General Assembly which tried to meet following the shooting of Goebel.
