Scope and Content

The materials are comprised of financial records of a family operated store, sawmill, and ferry in Boonesborough, Kentucky. Included are daily account ledgers from the store and account journals from the mill, mostly indexed from 1859-1889. These businesses operated under various names, including Hargis Stevens, Stevens and Minter, and John Stevens.
