The Carnegie Library which was named for its benefactor, Andrew Carnegie and was completed in 1908, opened in 1909 and destroyed in 1967 to make room for two projects: the Patterson Office Tower and the White Hall Classroom building. This print was taken in January 1949. It appears on page 42 in the book "Hail Kentucky", Photographer: John Kuiper, 1949
